SYNERGY COMMERCIAL WELCOMES JIM FLINK

MORRISVILLE, N.C.  –(December 4, 2009) – Synergy Commercial Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Jim Flink to its commercial brokerage team.  Licensed since 1983, Flink’s 26-year investment sales career has focused primarily on the acquisition and disposition of raw land, apartment communities and income producing properties.  He is considered one of the foremost experts on the Raleigh-Durham apartment market, having brokered the sale or land of more than 25 apartment communities throughout his career.  Flink started in brokerage with Grubb & Ellis in Pittsburgh before relocating to the Triangle.  In 1987, he co-founded Vanguard Associates and grew the firm with his partners into a regional (southeast) commercial brokerage services company before selling the company in 1998.  Flink then worked alongside several local developers before founding Redtail Properties in 2004 to focus on apartment development opportunities throughout the Southeast.

Flink will join Synergy Commercial Advisors as Executive Director of Investment Sales overseeing the Company’s investment sales strategy.  Flink will also continue to operate Redtail Properties, which will maintain its focus on apartment development opportunities outside of the Triangle.  Flink is the second investment sales broker hired by Synergy Commercial Advisors in the last two weeks after Jerry Levit was announced in late October (2009).
